Lipstick Series: Revlon Colorstay Lip Butter in 50: Berry Smoothie

Despite that it has been a little over a year since these lip butters were released, I am still as crazy about them as I was when they first came out. I reach for these lip butters more than my MAC lipsticks to be honest because they just have that great combination of moisture and colour that I have ever experienced in a drugstore find. Every now and then when there's a sale going on, I'll grab a new colour I haven't tried yet because I don't fully own them all yet (I'm coming close to though lol).

Here is my latest buy, Berry Smoothie.





I would describe Berry Smoothie as a perfect sheer berry wash. The colour dabs on sheer but you can build it up by layering more. As with the lip butter formula, my lips feel moist and soft whenever I use them; no need for a layer of lip balm underneath whatsoever. What I especially love about Berry Smoothie is that it is a nice neutral berry tone-not too purple or red-based. It's such a great wash for a hint of colour as well, if you are not in a nude/pink lips kind of mood.







Now would you add Berry Smoothie to your lip butter collection? I really vouch for it because it is just too simply a gorgeous colour to ignore!
